Travis

Meet Travis, a pit mix. He weighs 50 lbs. and is estimated to be 3 or 4 years old. He is a very sweet soul who loves people, but is not overbearing. He is content to lay by your feet and just be close. He knows sit and is learning the stay command. He loves to ride in the car and is also good in a crate. He is not a barker, but instead is a patient dog with very kind eyes. Unfortunately, until a home is found, he is in boarding, so housebreaking is questionable. He is such a smart guy, we just know he will learn very fast. If you are looking for a sweet, patient dog who will be very loyal, please give Travis a chance.

Buddy

Buddy is an approximately 4-year-old, 65 lb. Carolina Dog mix who was previously chained outside 24/7 with an extension cord to a porch. Buddy was rescued, vetted, neutered and adopted out for almost one year. He is a herding dog that was being re-homed because he was actively herding the young children and the owner didnt want to train him. Buddy is a very friendly, playful, energetic dog that just needs some guidance related to his herding. He does know basic commands and is house trained. He has been to dog parks and does well with all dogs, but is particular about the cats he likes.

Jake

Big dog lovers will love Jake, lab/pit bull mix who is approx 2 1/2 years old. He was abandoned inside a foreclosed home. Fortunately a kind person found him and took him in, but they had to move and could not take him along. Jake is neutered and UTD on his shots. He weighs approx 95 lbs. He is very affectionate. He loves to go for walks. Playing is another favorite pastime. He also loves his rope toy and rawhides. He knows several commands (sit, stay, down) and picks up very quickly on training. He likes most other dogs, but given his size can sometimes overwhelm smaller dogs! Not really sure how he is with cats. He is waiting for that special person to come along and take him home. He just loves life and will truly be a wonderful companion to the right person.

Jake is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and neutered
